Allen may have a degree in Visual Communications, but he likes to consider himself a jack of all trades. He’s just as comfortable using Adobe Illustrator to create a brand logo as he is editing style sheets to change the look and feel of a website.
By day he’s employed at an award-winning advertising agency where he’s done work for companies like Malkins Carpets, Waukesha County Fair and ProHealth Care Regency Senior Communities.
Although he graduated with a degree in Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2003 Nick’s foray into the web came much earlier as he spent his late high school and early college years running an online record store.
He’s currently employed as a web project manager for a Milwaukee-area industrial supply company and is also the sole writer/recipe developer/photographer behind the popular blog DudeFoods.com.
